Successes & social

SwapSanity’s Successes feed lets you celebrate outdoor activities (hikes, rides, runs) with friends and group members—similar to a lightweight Strava-style social layer.

Share a success

  1. Open My Activities after a completed activity with a track (optional but recommended).
  2. Choose Share as Success.
  3. Pick a title, optional note, visibility, and any gear you used.
  4. Post — your success appears on the feed for people allowed by your privacy setting.

Visibility

  • Public — anyone signed in can see it.
  • Friends only — verified friends.
  • Group only — members of the activity’s group.
  • Private — only you.

Default visibility is set under Profile → Social.

Kudos and comments

On a success, tap the heart for kudos (avatars show who cheered). Friends can leave comments; as the owner you can also save private-style notes on your own post.

Challenges

From the Successes screen, open Challenges (trophy/leaderboard icon). Pick a group and create or view challenges such as “most elevation this month.” Completing and sharing successes in that group while a challenge is active updates the leaderboard.

Follow & friends

  • Verified friends are a mutual connection (invite by email).
  • Follow is one-way: on someone else’s success, use Follow or Message. Manage lists under Friends & following (Friends / Following / Followers tabs).

Badges

Posting successes can unlock badges (first success, big climbs, early starts, and more). See them on your Profile under Social. New badges are mentioned when you share a success.

Maps

If the activity had a GPS track, the feed and detail view show a small route map plus distance, climb, and time.

Message from a success

From a success detail page you can message the author, or open a private chat by tapping a kudos chip or the mail icon on a comment.
